Epic 1: Foundation

The architectural floor every other epic stands on: project bootstrap, design system & brand, authentication, multi-tenant workspaces, projects, the work-item schema, the web app shell, and async job infrastructure. Boring, foundational, non-negotiable. If this isn't solid, every other epic builds on sand. All 8 stories (1.0–1.6) shipped; a post-completion legal-posture task (1.7 — CLA Assistant setup) was added when the open-core license boundary was reviewed (a CLA is required from day one if a future relicense — to BSL/SSPL — must remain optional without retroactive contributor consent chasing).
